Can I build a deck over my existing concrete patio in Ottawa?

Building a deck over an existing concrete patio is absolutely possible in Ottawa and is actually a common approach, but the success of the project depends on honestly assessing the condition of your existing slab and choosing the right construction method for our climate conditions.
